PLAY.COMPETE.LEARN
The Play2Learn Foundation provides gamers with the education and resources needed to navigate the emerging web3 landscape by promoting financial inclusion and technological literacy.
THE PROBLEM
The World of Exclusion
The lack of a bank account, financial knowledge, or technological skills can exacerbate poverty.
Access Denied: No Bank Account
Nearly 1.7 billion people worldwide have no access to a bank account, 31 percent of adults are unbanked. Only 48.9 percent of Indonesians (48.9%) and 34.5% of Filipinos have bank accounts.
When Technology is a Stranger
In an age of the digital revolution, only 6.5% of India’s population is digitally literate. The relationship between level of education, illiteracy and poverty is clear. The lack of sufficient technology causes wealth and lifestyle inequalities that negatively affect society.
Environmental Issues
Poverty alleviation is one of the most crucial elements of environmental regeneration. Pollution, soil erosion, and deforestation lead to a decline in food production and droughts which contribute to inflation and poverty.
